Alerting
Alerting (notifications) is implemented based on VictoriaMetrics AlertManager and AlertManagerConfig. The interface has been adapted to minimize the risk of configuration errors.
By default, alert rules are installed in Shturval platform clusters. See the list of pre-installed rules. To set up custom alert or record rules, you need to create a rule group.
In the interface, you can configure:

Services required for alerting in a cluster
Client cluster alerting is available from the platform interface if the following services are enabled and running:
- in the management cluster: Monitoring module. Centralized metrics collection (Victoria Metrics) (
shturval-monitoring) and Monitoring module control component (Victoria Metrics Agent) (shturval-metrics-collector); - in the client cluster: Monitoring module control component (Victoria Metrics Agent) (
shturval-metrics-collector).
Management cluster alerting can be configured if the following services are enabled and running:
- in the management cluster: Monitoring module. Centralized metrics collection (Victoria Metrics) (
shturval-monitoring); - in the management cluster: Monitoring module control component (Victoria Metrics Agent) (
shturval-metrics-collector).
