Persistent Volumes

The Persistent Volumes page contains a list of persistent volumes. In the current implementation, the graphical interface of the Shturval platform does not allow you to manually create persistent volumes. PVs are created using PVC and cannot be changed once created.

On the Persistent Volume (PV) page, you can view the specification with which the persistent volume was created, as well as what PersistentVolumeClaim created this object.

Possible PV statuses:

  • Pending - in the process of creation.
  • Available - available and ready to be connected to PVC.
  • Bound - connected to PVC.
  • Released - released from PVC, but not yet available.
  • Failed - damaged.
  • Terminating - in the process of removal.

If an administrator deletes a PV that is associated with a PVC, the PV is not immediately deleted. Removal of the PV is delayed until the PV is no longer associated with the PVC.
