vCloud Director Provider

The vCloud Director Provider provides integration and access to data in the vCloud Director virtualization platform. Provider deploys virtual machines in the virtualization platform for use in clusters with the vCloud Director provider.

The module is critical for the operation of the platform (cannot be disabled). In the Shturval platform, the vCloud Director provider is installed only in the management cluster.

To view the status of a service in the management cluster, go to the Services and Repositories section on the Installed services page. Find vCloud Director Provider (shturval-capvcd) and click Manage.

The operation of the vCloud Director Provider (shturval-capvcd) depends on the operation of the services:

  • CRD for the provider module (ClusterAPI vCloud Director) shturval-capvcd-crds;
  • Cluster-API Provider shturval-capi.
