vSphere Provider (VMWare vSphere)

The vSphere Provider (VMWare vSphere) provides integration and data access to the VMWare vSphere virtualization platform (does not integrate with VMware vCloud Director). Provider deploys virtual machines in the virtualization platform for use in clusters with the vSphere provider.

The module is critical for the operation of the platform (cannot be disabled). In the Shturval platform, the vSphere provider is installed only in the management cluster.

To view the status of a service in the management cluster, go to the Installed Services page of the Services and Repositories section. Find vSphere Provider (shturval-capvs) and click Manage.

The operation of the vSphere Provider (shturval-capvs) depends on the operation of the services:

  • CRD for provider module (vSphere) shturval-capvs-crds;
  • Cluster-API Provider shturval-capi.
