Authentication management module (Shturval Auth)

Starting from version 2.12, the Shturval platform has implemented an authentication management module (Shturval Auth) separately from Shturval Backend. Module functions:

  • Providing user access to the platform.
  • Integration with external authentication services (Blitz, Keycloak) and LDAP directories.

The module is critical for the operation of the Shturval platform (cannot be disabled). In the Shturval platform, Shturval Auth is installed only in the management cluster.

To view the status of a service in the management cluster, go to the Installed Services page of the Services and Repositories section. Find Authentication Management Module (shturval-auth) and click Manage.

The operation of the Authentication Management Module (shturval-auth) depends on the operation of the service:

  • External connection control module shturval-ingress-controller.
