The software can be deployed with or without Internet access.
When deploying with Internet access, all cluster nodes must have access to r.shturval.tech.
Direct access is required to connect to these resources (proxy servers are not supported).
Network requirements for remote access
- The OpenSSH service on each server must accept incoming connections on TCP port 22.
- A service user account must be created on each server. The service account name must be the same on all cluster nodes. The account must have a home directory in the OS (for example,
/home/shturval). - Each server must be configured for public key authentication. The key must be the same on all servers.
- The service account must be configured to run sudo without a password. Use a separate file in
/etc/sudoers.d/, for example:
shturval ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD: ALL
Replace shturval with your chosen username. It must match on all nodes; see item 2.
