Virtualization platform setup

To use the vCloud Director provider in the Shturval platform:

1. You must have an organization service account in VMware vCloud Director. To create a service account and assign roles, follow the instructions.

Note! TKG (Tanzu Kubernetes Grid) support must be enabled in the vCloud Director admin panel.

Grant the organization service account permissions for:

• User > Manage own API token;
• vApp > Preserve ExtraConfig items during OVA import and export;
• Gateway > View Gateway;
• Gateway Services > Configure NAT, configure load balancer;
• Default vApp Author role permissions;
• «Full Control: VMWARE:CAPVCDCLUSTER» permission;
• Permissions required for CPI;
• Permissions required for CSI.

2. A virtual machine template must exist in your virtualization platform to add to the provider. For template creation instructions, see How to create.
