Creating a VM in the virtualization platform

In the New template dialog, fill in the following fields:

  • Name: Enter a unique name for the new template.
  • Description: Enter a short description to identify the template.
  • Cluster: Select the cluster where this template will be available.

Wait until the created template becomes available in your virtualization environment. From that point, the template is available for adding to provider configuration.
