Troubleshooting providers

Checking connectivity and creating clusters.

Connection check fails

  • Check URL, credentials, API availability from platform nodes;
  • For oVirt/VMware vSphere - check the certificate (when using a corporate CA);
  • Make sure that the firewall does not block outgoing connections to the provider’s API.
  • Make sure that the service management system on the infrastructure provider side has sufficient rights to perform tasks;
  • Check quotas and limits in the provider environment (vCPU, RAM, disk);
  • Make sure that the network and subnets are configured correctly;
  • Make sure that DHCP is enabled on the network for nodes — without it, VMs will not receive IP addresses;
  • For oVirt - check the VNIC profile and cluster availability.

CSI doesn’t work

  • Make sure that the provider instance allows CSI installation;
  • Check the storage settings in the provider environment (datastore, storage domain).
