Can't find the information?
If you cannot find an answer or a description of the scenario you need in the Shturval platform documentation, try the search and navigation options below first. If the information is still missing, request it through support or feedback channels.
How to search the documentation
Site search
Use documentation search: enter keywords related to your topic (for example, “kubeconfig”, “backup”, “StorageClass”, “assign permissions”). Search matches page titles, descriptions, and keywords.
Section navigation
The documentation is organized by top-level navigation. The table below lists sections, main subsections, and typical tasks for each.
| Section | What’s inside | Tasks |
|---|---|---|
| Platform Administrator | Quick start, GUI navigation, glossary Platform installation, planning and architecture, providers, licensing Deploying client clusters, IAM, tenants Monitoring, logging, updates, disaster recovery, FAQ | Install the platform in an open or closed loop, connect infrastructure providers, deploy client clusters, configure access, manage the license, view platform-wide monitoring and logs, update in a closed loop, recover from failures. |
| Cluster Administrator | Quick start, management GUIs, glossary Nodes, storage, networking, certificates, etcd maintenance Cluster backup, logs, monitoring, alerting Services and repositories, Kubernetes version updates, troubleshooting | Manage a management or client cluster after deployment: maintain nodes, network, storage, certificates, and etcd; configure quotas, backups, logs, and monitoring; connect services and repositories; update Kubernetes; troubleshoot common issues. |

Open the Section you need in the menu and browse the pages listed under What’s inside. A fixed list of changes by platform version is in Release notes under General information; the Blog section does not replace it.
Related sections and links
Pages often include links to related sections (at the end of a block or in the text). If your task overlaps with another topic, follow the link — it may contain the information you need or the next step.
Release notes and known limitations
General information → Release notes describes changes by version: new features, fixes, and end of support. Also see the Roadmap for planned development areas. If you use a specific version, check whether the behavior or limitation you need is described in that version’s release notes.
Request missing information
If you have browsed the relevant section and searched by keywords but the description or scenario you need is not there, you can request additional documentation or clarification.
Commercial version (Enterprise)
The Service Desk (vendor support portal) includes application documentation — check the knowledge base before contacting support.
Contact vendor support (through the channels specified in your contract). Include in your request:
- The task or scenario you are working on (for example: “set up alerting in the management cluster”, “add a node to a cluster with provider X”).
- What you could not find — the section you searched and what information is missing (steps, parameters, examples).
- The platform version you are using.
Support can point you to existing documentation or submit a request to improve it.
Community version
Use the Telegram community channel. Describe what you want to do and where in the documentation you expected to find the answer.
Within your organization
If the platform is deployed in your company, the platform administrator or the person responsible for Shturval deployment may have internal instructions, FAQs, or access to additional materials. Ask them whether your scenario is documented internally or where to send documentation requests.
If you find an error in the documentation (typo, incorrect step, outdated information), see If you find an error.
