InfraMachineTemplate
Overview
InfraMachineTemplate—virtual machine parameters template for a group of nodes. The specific type depends on the infrastructure provider (vSphere, oVirt, OpenStack, etc.). When a group is created or modified, the Cluster API creates InfraMachine instances based on the template.
Where to configure: Node Management → Group Configuration → InfraMachineTemplate or Administration tab → Custom Resources (API infrastructure.cluster.x-k8s.io).
Note: changing the InfraMachineTemplate in an existing group causes re-creation of nodes.

OVirtMachineTemplate
Provider for oVirt. API: infrastructure.cluster.x-k8s.io/v1beta1, kind: OVirtMachineTemplate.

Clone disk when creating a VM (diskclone) | Yes clones disks of nodes in this group, No creates them without cloning. Default uses the provider instance value, or the disk-clone feature gate if the instance is also Default. Details: disk cloning. |

Basic mode
Selection of host role—when scaling, only free hosts with the selected role are joined. In the block Potentially availablee hosts matches the hosts displayed.
Advanced settings
Selector by labels and expressions for selecting hosts:

| Exists | Hosts with the specified key (no value required) |
| DoesNotExist | Hosts without the specified key |
Note: if a label for hosts is selected in one group, it must be excluded in other groups: key = the same, operator = NotIn, value = selected in another group.
