ConfigMaps

A ConfigMap is a Kubernetes resource for non-confidential data as key-value pairs. Pods use ConfigMaps as environment variables, command-line arguments, or files in a volume.

A ConfigMap does not encrypt data. For confidential data, use a Secret.
